Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.
This standard replaces GB/T 8899-1998 "microstructure grouping of coal and mineral determination." And GB/T 8899-1998 compared to
The main changes are as follows.
--- Added "Terms and Definitions" chapter.
--- Deleted the "semi-vitrinite" content.
This standard uses redrafted Law Amendment uses ISO 7404-3.2009 "Analysis of coal and rock - Part 3. maceral group consisting of
test methods".
This standard and ISO 7404-3.2009, compared with more adjustment in the structure, listed in Appendix A of this standard and ISO 7404-3.2009
The reg number control list.
This standard and ISO 7404-3.2009 as compared to the existence of technical differences, these differences involve the provision has passed the gap in the outside margin
Vertical single-line positions were marked, Appendix B gives a list of corresponding technical differences and their causes.
This standard and ISO 7404-3.2009, compared also made the following editorial changes.
a) use the "standard" instead of "this International Standard";
b) use a decimal point instead of a decimal comma ",". ",";
c) Remove the foreword and introduction of international standards.
The standard proposed by China Coal Industry Association.
This standard coal by the National Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC42) centralized.
This standard was drafted. Coal Science and Industry Group, Xi'an Institute.
1 Scope
This standard specifies the method for determining microstructure grouping of coal (or microscopic component) and the volume fraction of the mineral in reflected polarized light microscopy.

4 Method summary
Pulverized coal ray reflective polarizer is placed under the microscope in polarized light or not completely orthogonal polarization, to be able to accurately identify the mineral composition and microstructure
Based on the statistics of the microstructure and mineral packets with the volume fraction of the number of point method.
5 Apparatus and materials
5.1 reflection polarizing microscope
Should the blue filter in the incident path. Dry objective should be x 20 ~ x 50, oil immersion objective should be x 25 ~ x 60, eyepiece should
x 8 ~ x 12.5. Eyepiece should be equipped with micrometer and crosshairs.
Reflection reflection fluorescence polarization microscope equipped with appropriate means.
5.2-foot stage push
In the transverse direction (X) and vertical (Y) on the range of movement of not less than 25mm, and are able to move and other steps.
5.3 Counter
Measuring points were recorded at least eight kinds of ingredients; count should be equipped with computers, and the preparation of the corresponding data processing, report output and other software.
5.4 Sample installation equipment
Slides, clay and leveler.
