Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard replaces GB/T 7925-2005 "Parameters of Wire EDM (Reciprocating Wire Type)", compared with GB/T 7925-2005, The main technical changes are as follows.

---Modified the main content and scope of application of the standard (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the 2005 edition);

---Modified the machine tool type and listed a separate chapter (see Chapter 4, Chapter 4 of the 2005 edition);

---Modified the parameter range of X, Y, Z axis stroke, maximum workpiece quality, and maximum cutting thickness; "Maximum cutting taper" was changed to "Maximum Cutting slope" and modified the parameter range (see Table 1, 2005 edition of Table 1).

1 Scope

This standard specifies the types and parameters of CNC reciprocating wire EDM wire cutting machine tools.

This standard applies to CNC reciprocating wire EDM wire cutting machine tools (hereinafter referred to as "machine bed").

3 Terms and definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 14896.2-2009 apply to this document.

4 Type

The basic types of machine tools are shown in Figure 1 and Figure 2, which are mainly divided into single-column machine tools and double-column machine tools. The coordinate system and operation of the machine tool The dynamic naming shall comply with the provisions of Chapter 3 in GB/T 7926-2015.
