Scope
GB/T 6314-2018 is the English-translated version of 三爪内径千分尺.
GB/T 6314-2018 covers internal micrometers with three-point contact, instruments that use a screw pair to move three measuring jaws radially against the wall of a bore to measure its diameter.
It sets out terms and definitions, types and basic parameters, requirements, inspection conditions, inspection methods, and marking and packaging. It applies to instruments with scale or digital reading, a scale interval of 0.001 mm or 0.005 mm and an upper measuring limit up to 300 mm; electronic digital models are excluded.
The requirements include jaw interchangeability, materials of jaws and heads, scale marks, zero adjustment devices and extension rods, the force measuring device, measuring faces, maximum permissible error and setting ring gauges.
It replaces GB/T 6314-2004, was issued on 14 May 2018 and has applied since 1 December 2018.

Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces GB/T 6314-2004 "Three-claw inner diameter micrometer". This standard is compared with GB/T 6314-2004, except for editorial repair In addition, the main technical changes are as follows.
--- Revised the scope of application of the standard (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the 2004 edition);
--- Redefining related terms (see Chapter 3, Chapter 3 of the 2004 edition);
--- Re-specified the measurement range of the three-claw inner micrometer and its corresponding relationship with the range (see 4.3, 2004 edition 4.2);
--- Increased the requirement for measuring paw interaction (see 5.2);
--- Increased the requirements for the interchangeability of the three-claw inner micrometer probe (see 5.2.3);
--- Revised the requirements for materials required for measuring jaws and measuring heads (see 5.3, 5.2 of 2004 edition);
--- Increased the requirement for scale marking and its coincidence (see 5.4);
--- Added requirements for zero adjustment device, screw pair wear adjustment device and extension rod (see 5.5);
--- Revised the requirements for the force measuring device and its force measurement value (see 5.6, 5.3 of the 2004 edition);
--- Revised the requirements for the shape of the measuring surface and the hardness and surface roughness of the measuring surface (see 5.7.1, 5.7.4, 5.4.1 of the 2004 edition);
--- Increased the requirements for the shape of the special-purpose measuring surface and the requirements of the two-point measuring surface (see 5.7.2, 5.7.3);
--- Re-principle the principle of maximum allowable error and error determination of the indication (see 5.8, 5.7 of 2004 edition);
--- Redefined the technical requirements for the proofreading ring gauge (see 5.9, 5.7 of the 2004 edition);
--- Increased the requirements for inspection conditions (see Chapter 6);
--- Added the content of the inspection method, supplemented the appearance, interaction, scale marking and its coincidence, inspection and measurement of various devices Inspection methods for items such as face (see Chapter 7);
--- Revised the test method for proofreading ring gauges, and unified with relevant standards (see 7.8, 2004 edition 6.2).
1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, types and basic parameters of the three-claw inner micrometer (excluding the electronic digital three-claw inner micrometer). Requirements, inspection conditions, inspection methods, signs and packaging.
This standard applies to scale readings and digital readings with a scale value of 0.001mm, 0.005mm, and an upper limit of the measurement range up to 300mm. Claw inner micrometer (excluding electronic digital three-claw inner micrometer).
