Scope

GB/T 6313-2018 is the English-translated version of 尖头千分尺.

GB/T 6313-2018 covers pointed-contact micrometers with conical tips, which measure between two cone-shaped faces. It specifies their terms and definitions, types and basic parameters, requirements, inspection methods, marking and packaging.

It applies to instruments with a scale interval of 0.01 mm, 0.001 mm, 0.002 mm or 0.005 mm, a micrometer range of 25 mm and an upper measuring limit of up to 100 mm, excluding electronic digital versions.

Compared with the 2004 edition it adds a 15° taper angle, changes the spherical or flat tip diameter from 0.2-0.3 mm to 0.5-0.8 mm, sets the diameter of the cylindrical part of spindle and anvil at 6.35 mm and adds a test for the change in distance between the measuring faces before and after locking.

It replaces GB/T 6313-2004, was issued on 14 May 2018 and has applied since 1 December 2018.

Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard replaces GB/T 6313-2004 "pointed micrometer". This standard is compared with GB/T 6313-2004, except for editorial modifications. In addition, the main technical changes are as follows.

--- Removed the maximum allowable error value of the micrometer and its definition (see 3.3, 5.10 of 2004 edition);

--- Modified the basic parameters of the measurement range (see 4.2.1, 4.2.2, 4.2 of the 2004 version);

--- Increased the taper angle of the measuring end by 15° (see Table 2 in 5.4, Table 2 in Table 5.4 of 2004);

--- Revised the spherical or planar diameter of the measuring end from 0.2mm to 0.3mm to 0.5mm~0.8mm (see Table 2 in 5.4). Table 2 of the 2004 edition of 5.4);

--- Increase the diameter of the micrometer screw and the cylindrical part of the anvil to 6.35mm (see Table 2 in 5.4, Table 2 in Table 5.4 of 2004);

--- Increased the test method for the change of the distance between the two measuring surfaces before and after locking (see 6.5).

1 Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, types and basic parameters, requirements, of the pointed micrometer (excluding the electronic digital tip micrometer). Inspection methods, signs and packaging.

This standard applies to the division value of 0.01mm, 0.001mm, 0.002mm, 0.005mm, the micrometer range is 25mm, the measurement range A pointed micrometer with an upper limit of 100 mm (excluding an electronic digital tip micrometer).
