1 Scope

This standard specifies the determination of beryllium oxide ceramic material thermal conductivity (thermal conductivity) of the club shaft and laser flashing method.

This standard specifies the method for measuring rod axis beryllium oxide ceramic temperature of the thermal conductivity in the range of 40 °C ~ 150 °C. This method can also

Suitable for measuring other low thermal conductivity ceramic material or a ceramic matrix composite material thermal conductivity within the above temperature range. Laser specified in this standard

Flash method is suitable for the thermal diffusivity and thermal conductivity measurements in the range from room temperature to 1400 °C porosity of less than 10% of beryllium oxide ceramic material rate. This method is also applicable in the above temperature range in the measurement of thermal diffusivity 10-7 m2/s ~ 10-3 m2/s between completely homogeneous , The energy pulse opaque other solid materials thermal diffusivity and thermal conductivity; suitable for measuring non-uniform or anisotropic material.

3 Terms and Definitions

GB/T 9530-1988 and defined the following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Thermal conductivity

Thermal Conductivity

Under steady-state thermal conditions, the density of heat flow rate divided by the temperature gradient. It means the unit area, the direction perpendicular to the plane of the unit temperature gradient

Steady-state rate of heat flow caused.

Note. The thermal conductivity of the material with temperature changes, and should therefore be given at the same time the average temperature measurement of thermal conductivity of the material.

3.2 Thermal diffusivity

Thermal diffusivity

Under non-steady state thermal conditions, the temperature of the physical parameters characterizing the ability to communicate. Thermal diffusivity is equal to thermal conductivity divided by the product of density and specific heat.

alpha =

Cprho (1)

Where.

alpha --- thermal diffusivity, in square meters per second (m2/s);

lambda --- thermal conductivity in watts per meter open [W/(m · K)];

CP --- specific heat units per kg of coke opening [J/(kg · K)];

p --- Density (rho = m/V, that is approximately the density p in the above temperature range to remain unchanged), in kilograms per cubic meter (kg/m3).
