Scope
GB/T 37082-2018 is the English-translated version of 普通混合液晶材料规范.
GB/T 37082-2018 is the Chinese national product specification for the ordinary mixed liquid crystal materials used in displays.
It divides these materials into positive and negative mixtures and sets the technical requirements: appearance as a milky white or light yellow liquid, freedom from crystal precipitation and visible suspended matter, and technical indicators such as clearing point, resistivity and optical anisotropy.
The test methods cover the environmental conditions, clearing point, resistivity, optical anisotropy, threshold and saturation voltage, dielectric anisotropy and the low-temperature test.
It also lays down the inspection rules, from batches and sampling to type tests, factory inspection and the certificate of conformity, together with marking, packaging, transport and storage.
It applies to TN, STN, HTN, VA, 3D, PDLC and other display mixtures, was issued on 28 December 2018 and has applied since 1 July 2019.

4 Product Categories
According to the performance of the product, the product is divided into two categories. positive-normal mixed liquid crystal material and negative-common mixed liquid crystal material.
5 Technical requirements
5.1 Appearance
Milky white or light yellow liquid.
5.2 Mechanical impurities
There should be no crystal precipitation, no visible suspension.
