Scope
GB/T 48034-2026 is the English-translated version of 超高分子量聚乙烯(PE-UHMW)内衬管.
GB/T 48034-2026 is a Chinese national standard on ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (PE-UHMW) lining pipes. The standard specifies the materials, classification and marking of the liner pipes.
It applies to the inner lining pipe inserted into a base pipe to make PE-UHMW composite pipes.
These composite pipes are used in oilfield oil and water pipelines and injection wells, in coal slurry, tailings slurry and fine sand slurry transport in industry, in power plant ash and slag removal, and for high-salinity groundwater in desert and saline-alkali areas.
Because of its chemical resistance, the document also applies to the lining of composite pipes carrying acid or alkali chemical liquids. Its clauses also cover requirements, test methods, inspection rules and packaging. Issued on 30 July 2026 and applicable from 1 February 2027.

Foreword
This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents".
1 Scope
This document specifies the materials, classification, and marking of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (PE-UHMW) liner pipes (hereinafter referred to as "liner pipes").
This document applies to the inner lining pipe inserted into the base pipe for the preparation of PE-UHMW composite pipes. This type of composite pipe is used in oilfield oil production and other applications.
Oilfield engineering projects such as oil and water pipelines and injection wells, as well as coal slurry, tailings slurry and fine sand slurry transportation in industrial coal mines, power plant ash and slag removal, desert and salt flats... Engineering fields such as high-salinity groundwater transportation in alkaline areas.
Taking chemical resistance into account, this document also applies to the inner lining of composite pipes used in the chemical industry for conveying chemical liquids containing acids, alkalis, etc.
