This document is part 2 of GB/T 18743 "Determination of Impact Strength of Simply Supported Beams of Thermoplastic Pipes". GB/T 18743 has The following sections have been published.

This document and Part 1 of GB/T 18743 replace GB/T 18743-2002 "Simply Supported Thermoplastic Pipes for Fluid Transport" Compared with GB/T 18743-2002, in addition to structural adjustment and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.

a) Changed the scope of application (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2002 edition);

b) terms and definitions are added (see Chapter 3);

c) Added test conditions for polyethylene (PE) pipes (see 4.1 and 4.2);

d) Added Method A, Method B and Method C (see 4.1, 4.2 and 4.3).

Introduction
