Introduction

GB/T 48044, "Industrial Perfluoro(Alkyl Vinyl Ether)-Tetrafluoroethylene (PFA) Piping Systems," is a standard guiding my country's standards for perfluoro(alkyl vinyl ether)-tetrafluoroethylene plastic (PFA) piping systems.

GB/T 48044 is a standard for the production and application of vinyl ether (VIE)-tetrafluoroethylene (PFA) plastic pipe products. It aims to regulate the use of PFA in the photovoltaic and electronics industries.

Materials, pipes, fittings, and valves for perfluoro(alkyl vinyl ether)-tetrafluoroethylene (PFA) piping systems used for transporting ultrapure water or chemical media.

The assessment of door and system suitability and conformity is proposed to consist of six parts.

---Part 1: General Provisions. The purpose is to establish the applicable principles for industrial perfluoro(alkyl vinyl ether)-tetrafluoroethylene (PFA) pipes. System material requirements and testing methods.

---Part 2: Piping. The purpose is to establish suitable perfluoro(alkyl vinyl ether)-tetrafluoroethylene (PFA) pipes for industrial use. Requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage.

---Part 3: Fittings. The purpose is to establish suitable perfluoro(alkyl vinyl ether)-tetrafluoroethylene (PFA) pipe fittings for industrial use.

1 Scope

This document specifies the industrial-grade perfluoro(alkyl vinyl ether)-tetrafluoroethylene (PFA) (also known as melt-processable polytetrafluoroethylene) tubing.

The material requirements for the pipeline system are described, along with the corresponding test methods.

This document applies to perfluoro(alkyl vinyl ether)-tetrafluoroethylene plastics used in the photovoltaic, electronics, and other industries for the transport of ultrapure water or chemical media. (PFA) Piping System.
