Introduction

Based on the application area of the pipeline system being repaired, trenchless repair technology is divided into the following technical series.

---Plastic pipe system for trenchless repair of underground pressureless drainage networks;

---Plastic piping system for trenchless repair of underground pressurized drainage networks;

---Plastic piping systems for trenchless repair of underground water supply networks;

--- Plastic pipe system for trenchless repair of underground gas pipeline networks.

GB/T 43982 "Plastic Piping Systems for Trenchless Repair of Underground Water Supply Networks" specifies the plastic piping systems used for trenchless repair of underground water supply networks.

Requirements for pipelines. GB/T 43982 is proposed to consist of five parts.

---Part 1: General Provisions. The purpose is to establish the principles that must be followed for plastic piping systems used in trenchless repair of underground water supply networks. General requirements, general principles and relevant rules.

---Part 2: Continuous Interlacing Lining Method. The purpose is to clarify the applicable materials for the continuous interlacing lining method in production, manufacturing, and construction verification. Technical requirements for the harvesting stage.

---Part 3: Tight-fit Lining Method. The purpose is to clarify the applicable materials for the tight-fit lining method in manufacturing and construction verification. Technical requirements for the harvesting stage.

---Part 4: In-situ Curing Lining Method. The purpose is to clarify the applicable materials for the in-situ curing lining method in manufacturing and construction verification. Technical requirements for the harvesting stage.

---Part 11: Flexible Hoses with Lining Method. The purpose is to clarify the applicable materials for the flexible hose lining method in manufacturing and construction verification. Technical requirements for the harvesting stage. Part 2: Continuous Interlacing Lining Method

1 Scope

This document specifies the M-stage insert pipes and fittings for plastic piping systems used in the continuous insert lining method for repairing water supply networks. Technical requirements, system requirements for Phase I, construction and acceptance.

This document applies to pressure transmission and distribution systems with an operating temperature not exceeding 40°C and a maximum operating pressure (MOP) not exceeding 2.0MPa for general purposes.

Water supply polyethylene piping system. Water supply polyethylene pipes and fittings are manufactured from a blend of PE80 and PE100 materials, with a nominal outer diameter of 16mm. 2500mm. Polyethylene pipes include the following two different types.

---Single-layer solid-wall polyethylene pipe;

---Multi-layer solid-wall polyethylene pipe.

Note 1. The reference operating temperature is 20°C. For the pressure reduction factor of pipelines operating at a constant temperature of 20°C~40°C, see GB/T 13663.1-2017. Appendix A.

Note 2. The purchaser is responsible for selecting the products specified in this document in accordance with its specific application needs and the requirements of relevant laws, regulations, standards or specifications.
