Scope
GB/T 45947-2025 is the English-translated version of 家用电器用废旧锂电池拆解及回收规范.
GB/T 45947-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering taking the lithium cells out of scrapped appliances and getting the material back — the trained personnel and their protective equipment, the site with its fire protection, extinguishers and video surveillance, the storage of packs that still hold charge, the discharging before any cutting, the dismantling down to module and cell and the sorting for reuse or crushing, and the verification. A cell that still holds charge is the reason the site needs fire protection at all. First edition, under the China National Light Industry Council. In force from 1 January 2026. Issued on 30 June 2025, it has been in force since 1 January 2026.
