1 Scope

This document specifies the safety requirements and/or risk reduction measures, safety requirements for meat processing machinery (hereinafter referred to as "meat machinery") and/or risk reduction measures, provides a list of significant hazards, and defines relevant terms and definitions.

This document applies to the design, manufacture, inspection and use of meat machinery.
