Foreword

This standard is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard replaces GB/T 4553-2002 "Industrial sodium nitrate", compared with GB/T 4553-2002, the main technical changes are as follows.

- Increased product classification according to the different uses of the product (see Chapter 4);

- due to the classification of the product, so the technical requirements of the corresponding adjustments (see 5.2,.2002 version 3.2);

- the addition of silver to the determination of chloride content (see 6.2.2,.2002, version 4.3);

The addition of the Nelly reagent to the determination of the ammonium content (see 6. 10.2,.2002, 4.8);

- an increase in the determination of boric acid content (see 6.12);

- Increased boron content determination method (see 6.13).

1 Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, labeling, packaging, transportation and storage of industrial sodium nitrate.

This standard applies to industrial sodium nitrate. The product is mainly used for solar melting salt, enamel, glass, dyes, metallurgical and other industries.
