Scope
GB/T 44780-2024 is the English-translated version of 健康管理 健康信息存储架构.
GB/T 44780-2024 specifies the storage architecture for health information. Health data outlives the systems that create it, which is the whole problem: a record written today has to be readable in thirty years by software nobody has written, and it arrives as documents, images, audio and video with wholly different storage characteristics. The standard follows the two-level approach in which the data structure is separated from the clinical meaning imposed on it. It describes the architecture, then the data layer - document data, image data, audio data, video data, the transmission formats and the security of the layer - and the integration layer, with its terminology package, archetype package and template package, together with the reference archetypes for demographic and clinical data given in the annexes. It takes effect on 1 May 2025.
