GB/T 44633-2024 specifies how information about a power system emergency is reported. In the first hour of a major outage the national and provincial emergency authorities are working from whatever the affected utilities have sent them, and reports that use different fields, different units and different severity words cannot be aggregated into a picture of what is happening; the value of a reporting standard is that it makes the incoming stream machine-readable while it is still arriving. The standard sets the structure of the reported data, then the submission requirements for the event information, the reporting unit information and the attachments, with the specific content required for natural disasters, accidents, public health events, public security incidents and cybersecurity incidents, followed by the acceptance and checking of a report and worked examples of the reporting codes. It takes effect on 1 April 2025.

1 Scope
GB/T 44633-2024 specifies how information about a power system emergency is reported.
