Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1: Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents" Drafting is required.

This document is modified to adopt IEC 61249-4-1:2008 "Materials for printed boards and other interconnect structures Part 4-1.Prepreg without copper cladding Material Specification for Limited Flammability Epoxy E-Glass Cloth Adhesive Sheets for Multilayer Printed Circuit Boards.

Compared with IEC 61249-4-1:2008, this document has more structural adjustments. The structural number comparison table between the two documents is as follows.

This document has many technical differences compared to IEC 61249-4-1:2008.

A single vertical line (|) indicates these differences. A summary of these technical differences and their reasons is given in Appendix B.

The following editorial changes were made to this document.

-- Move the suspension sections in Chapter 3 and Chapter 5 of IEC 61249-4-1:2008 to 4.1 and 6.1 of this document respectively;

--Deleted the statements with incorrect logic in Chapter 1 and reformulated them;

--Change the title of Chapter 6 from "Delivery Status" to "Dimensions" to make the title more relevant to the content;

--Since IEC 61249-4-1:2008, 4.2.4, references IEC 61189-2, method 2M26, which has no corresponding domestic standard, for ease of use, the referenced IEC 61189-2 Method 2M26 content is converted into Appendix D (normative) Proportional Flow Thickness test method;

--Since IEC 61249-4-1:2008, 4.2.5, references IEC 61189-2, method 2C09, which has no corresponding domestic standard, for ease of use, the referenced IEC 61189-2 method 2C09 content is converted into Appendix E (normative) melt viscosity Test method.

1 Scope

This document specifies the materials and structure, performance requirements, dimensions and specifications of E glass fiber cloth reinforced bifunctional epoxy adhesive sheet (hereinafter referred to as "adhesive sheet").
