GB/T 42280-2022 is the English-translated version of 道路沥青混合料用短切玄武岩纤维.

1 Scope

This document specifies the product code and specification of chopped basalt fiber (hereinafter referred to as "chopped basalt fiber") for road asphalt mixture.

Specifications, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage.

This document applies to chopped basalt fibers added to road asphalt mixtures.

3 Terms and Definitions

3.3 A mixture of matrix bitumen and basalt fibers

3.1 Chopped basalt fibers

Basalt fiber strands or basalt fiber roving segments cut to a certain length.

3.2 Base asphalt

It is used to mix asphalt modifier to produce the base asphalt of modified asphalt.
