3.1 Basalt fiber

A continuous fiber prepared by drawing one or more volcanic rocks as a main raw material and melting at a high temperature and then drawing through a drain plate.

3.2 Universal basalt fiber

Basalt fiber having a certain tensile strength, tensile modulus, alkali salt attack resistance and high temperature resistance.

3.3 High-strength basalt fiber

Basalt fiber with tensile strength higher than 20% higher than general purpose.

Note. referred to as high-strength type.

3.4 High modulus basalt fiber

A basalt fiber having a tensile modulus greater than 12% higher than that of a general purpose.

Note. referred to as the high model.

3.5 Alkali-resistant salt eroded basalt fiber

After being treated with the specified alkali and salt mixed solution, the tensile breaking strength of the yarn is more than 75% higher than that of the general-purpose type, and has remarkable alkali resistance and resistance.

3.6 High temperature resistant basalt fiber

After being treated under the specified high temperature conditions, the tensile breaking strength of the yarn is more than double that of the general-purpose type, and has a remarkable high temperature resistance.
