Scope
GB/T 42052-2022 is the English-translated version of 载人潜水器作业工具技术规范.
GB/T 42052-2022 is the Chinese national specification for the working tools carried by a manned submersible. Clause 1 covers their classification, the general requirements and the functional requirements, and describes the inspection methods.
The contents list shows general requirements for weight, installation, materials, pressure-withstanding design, interfaces and general quality characteristics, then separate functional requirements for manipulators and for sensor, sampling, observation, rescue and other tool types, followed by factory inspection, suitability testing, operational testing and delivery inspection, and by marking, packaging, transport and storage.
Clause 1 applies it to the design, manufacture, testing and acceptance of manned submersible tooling, and adds that unmanned submersibles may also refer to it. Among the standards it quotes are GB/T 31910-2015 and GB/T 35365-2017. Issued on 12 October 2022, it has applied since the same date.
