Scope

GB/T 41999-2022 is the English-translated version of 港口岸电设施术语.

GB/T 41999-2022 is the Chinese vocabulary for port shore power installations, the equipment that supplies electrical energy to a ship while it is berthed, and clause 1 states that this is exactly what it applies to.

Its contents list groups the entries into basic terms, the port power system, the shore-based power supply system, the ship-to-shore connection system, the ship power receiving system, and construction and operation, and closes with a reference list and an alphabetical index.

The entries visible on this page define emergency shutdown, equipotential bonding between the conductive parts of the system, power-on and power-off switching between shore power and ship power, and the reverse power protection used with uninterrupted switching.

It has no normative references. Issued on 14 October 2022, it has applied since 1 May 2023.

Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" drafted.

1 Scope

This document defines terms and definitions related to port shore power facilities.

This document applies to the port shore power facilities that provide electrical energy to the ship during the berthing (berthing) period of the ship.

2 Normative references

There are no normative references in this document.

3 Basic terms

3.1 During

the ship's berthing (berthing), all the related power supply and auxiliary facilities for providing electrical energy to the ship.

3.2 port shore power system

A system that provides electrical energy to the ship from the shore power facilities of the port during the ship's berthing (berthing).

Note: Including port power system, shore-based power supply system, ship-shore connection system, ship power receiving system.

3.3 Emergencyshutdown

emergency stop When emergencies such as threats to the power facilities or personal safety of the shore power system of the port are involved, the shore-based power supply system and the ship's power supply are urgently cut off. Measures for electrical connection between systems.

3.4

An electrical connection that makes the potentials substantially equal between the conductive parts of the port shore power system.

3.5 Power-onswitching

In the state of uninterrupted power supply to the ship's load, the switch between shore power and ship power is completed. [Source: GB/T 36028.2-2018, 3.2]

3.6 Power-offswitching

When the power supply of the ship's load is interrupted, the switch between shore power and ship power is completed. [Source: GB/T 36028.2-2018, 3.2]

3.7

It is a kind of protection to avoid the reverse power transfer from the ship generator to the shore-based power supply system when the uninterruptible power supply switching mode is adopted.
