Scope
GB/T 41952-2022 is the English-translated version of 萘系染料中间体生产废液处理处置技术规范.
GB/T 41952-2022 is the Chinese national standard for the treatment and disposal of the waste liquid produced when naphthalene dye intermediates are made.
The naphthalene sulphonation and nitration routes generate strongly acidic, highly coloured and salt-laden liquors that a normal effluent plant cannot take, and this document sets the general requirements, the disposal methods and the environmental protection requirements that apply to them.
It is the reference a dye plant's environmental impact assessment and its discharge permit are argued against. It was issued on 30 December 2022 and has been in force since 1 July 2023.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Using naphthalene as raw material through sulfonation, nitration, reduction, alkali fusion and other production processes to obtain naphthalenesulfonic acid as the main body, used for the production of dyes, pigments, etc. intermediate products.
Note: Including H acid (1-amino-8-naphthol-3,6-disulfonic acid), J acid (2-amino-5-naphthol-7-sulfonic acid), tunic acid (2-naphthylamine -1-sulfonic acid), amino acid (2-naphthalene Amine-3,6,8-trisulfonic acid), 1-naphthol, 2-naphthol, etc.
3.2
Aiming at the specific groups of pollutants in the wastewater, the corresponding complexing agent is used to complex the specific groups, and the mutual difference between the complexing agent and the wastewater is used to
Compatibility, effectively separate the complex from wastewater, and remove naphthalene-based organics in wastewater.
3.3
The wastewater from which organic matter has been removed is evaporated and concentrated by mechanical vapor recompression (MVR) technology to crystallize the salt.
