Scope

GB/T 41920-2022 is the English-translated version of 城市公共汽电车运行状况评价规范.

GB/T 41920-2022 sets out how the running performance of an urban bus and trolleybus network is measured and graded. It fixes the evaluation objects and procedure, the indicators and their formulas, the data requirements, the performance classification and the evaluation results.

The indicators are average travel speed for the route network, a network road, a route and a route link, the ratio of bus travel speed to free-flow speed and to car travel speed, and a dimensionless performance index; free-flow speed is taken as the 90th percentile of the time-interval means, with sample days numbering no less than 30.

It also fixes the geographic, vehicle positioning, electronic schedule and road traffic flow data needed, and grades performance as free-flow, basically free-flow, delayed or congested. Issued on 12 October 2022, it has applied since the same date.
