Scope

GB/T 41513-2022 is the English-translated version of 喷射设备分类及名词术语.

GB/T 41513-2022 is the Chinese national vocabulary for jet equipment: it fixes the classification of that equipment and the terms and definitions used for it.

After the basic concept of jet equipment itself, it is organised by type - high pressure water jet equipment, with basic, classification and component terms; sprayers, with basic, classification, parameter and component terms; sandblasters, with basic terms, parameter classification and component terms; jet pumps and ejectors, with basic and structural terms.

The definitions include the water jet and its ranges, a low pressure water jet being one at not more than 10 MPa and a high pressure water jet one between 10 MPa and 100 MPa.

The document has no normative references and closes with an index. It was issued on 11 July 2022 and has applied since 1 February 2023.

Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" Drafting.

This document is proposed by China Machinery Industry Federation.

This document is under the jurisdiction of the National Standardization Technical Committee of Injection Equipment (SAC/TC493).

1 Scope

This document defines the classification of jetting equipment and common terms and definitions.

This document applies to the professional field of jetting equipment.

2 Normative references

There are no normative references in this document.

3 Basic Concept Terms

3.1 Jet equipment

Taking various nozzles, nozzles, spray guns and other jet components as the core, integrating pumps, valves, mechanical mechanisms, hydraulic and electric control, etc.

Various jetting devices and process systems generate jets and use jets to achieve cleaning, delamination, crushing, cutting, surface treatment, spraying, and fluid mass transfer. equipment for transporting and other engineering goals.

Note: The jetting equipment usually includes high-pressure water jet equipment, spraying equipment, sandblasting equipment, jet mixing and conveying equipment (jet pump and ejector), etc.

4 Terminology of high pressure water jet equipment

4.1 Basic terminology

4.1.1 High pressure water jet equipment

Equipment for jetting work by means of water jets.

Note: Solid particles or chemical agents can be added to the jet, and it can also be heated. High-pressure water jet equipment is often used for cleaning, delamination (rust removal, paint removal, glue removal, etc.), crushing, Engineering work such as cutting. Its composition is generally. high-pressure water generating equipment (usually reciprocating pump unit, booster unit), control system (safety valve, pressure regulating unit)

Valve (overflow relief valve), control valve, electric control cabinet, console, etc.), actuator (spray gun, spray head, abrasive jet assembly and other components and their feeding mechanism), auxiliary System (instrument, pipeline, carrying, protection, etc.).

4.1.2 Water jet

After the water is pressurized, it is ejected through the nozzle to form high-speed water jets of different shapes.

NOTE: The flow rate of the jet mainly depends on the pressure drop across the nozzle section.

4.1.2.1 Low pressure water jet

The working pressure is not more than 10MPa water jet.

Note: Most of its equipment hosts are centrifugal pumps or low-pressure reciprocating pumps.

4.1.2.2 High pressure water jet

Water jet with working pressure between 10MPa and 100MPa.
