Scope
GB/T 41041-2021 is the English-translated version of 宇航禁限用元器件控制要求.
GB/T 41041-2021 sets out how components that are forbidden or restricted in space applications are controlled during the development of aerospace equipment. It specifies the control requirements at each stage: demand analysis, design and manufacture, selection, application verification and quality assurance.
It lays down the basic principles, under which forbidden components may not be used and restricted ones only within specific conditions after verification and approval, together with the role of the components technical committee.
It also covers the management of the forbidden and restricted components list, from identification principles and sources to compiling, reviewing, releasing and updating it, with an example list in an annex.
Abbreviations such as BGA, LCCC, PCB and SiP are defined. It was issued on 31 December 2021 and has applied since 1 July 2022.

4 General requirements
4.1 Basic principles
The basic principles of component prohibition and restriction control requirements are as follows:
a) The control requirements for the prohibition and restriction of components shall be implemented in component demand analysis, design and manufacture, selection, evaluation and verification, and quality assurance, etc. The whole process;
b) The prohibition and restriction requirements are closely related to the specific application environment of the components, and should be combined with the application environment before determining the prohibition and restriction of components full analysis;
c) After analysis, the components are prohibited, and the control principle should be that the use of aerospace equipment is prohibited;
d) As a restricted component after analysis, the control principle should be within a specific condition or range, after sufficient verification and approval, it can be used.
