3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Whiteness
The degree of white, the surface of the measured object in the visible region relative to completely white (standard white) the size of the object of the diffuse radiation
Ratio, expressed as a percentage.
3.2 Whiteness value
The whiteness of any white object indicates the relative value of the whiteness of the PRD.
Note. The blackness of the ideal perfectly reflective diffuser (PRD) surface with a spectral diffuseness index equal to 1 is 100 degrees white with a spectral diffuseness index equal to 0
