GB/T 40793-2021 is the English-translated version of 烧结钕铁硼表面涂层.
GB/T 40793-2021 covers protective and decorative non-metallic coatings on sintered NdFeB (neodymium iron boron) permanent magnets, including phosphating and zirconium conversion coatings, electrophoretic and spray coatings and chemical vapour deposition coatings.

1 Scope
This document specifies the code of sintered NdFeB surface coating, the requirements of the substrate and the preparation before coating, technical requirements, test methods and inspections rule.
This document applies to protective and decorative coatings on the surface of sintered NdFeB permanent magnets, including phosphating or zirconium conversion coatings, electrophoresis and spray coatings. Coating, chemical vapor deposition and other coatings.
