GB/T 45756-2025 is the English-translated version of 烧结稀土永磁体拼接技术规范.
GB/T 45756-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering gluing several small sintered magnets into one large piece — the unit magnets and the adhesive, the bonding assembly, the machining and the surface protection, the tensile and compression shear strength of the joint, the coating thickness, the behaviour under steady damp heat and the irreversible flux loss at temperature, and the reason for splitting a magnet at all, which is to break the eddy current path through it. First edition, in force from 1 January 2026. Issued on 30 June 2025, it has been in force since 1 January 2026.

1 Scope
This document specifies the requirements for sintered rare earth permanent magnet materials, bonding assembly, machining and surface protection for sintered rare earth permanent magnet splicing.
The corresponding detection and testing methods are described.
This document is applicable to the use of adhesive bonding, with the purpose of reducing eddy current loss and improving surface magnetism, and only includes sintered rare earth permanent magnet materials and adhesives.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Unit component magnets
A single permanent magnet is made of sintered rare earth permanent magnet material through machining and surface protection or only machining.
Note. Sintered rare earth permanent magnet materials include sintered rare earth iron boron or rare earth cobalt permanent magnet materials. Sintered rare earth iron boron is sintered neodymium iron boron permanent magnet materials, grain boundary diffusion A general term for NdFeB permanent magnet materials, sintered cerium and cerium-rich permanent magnet materials.
3.2 Adhesive magnets
A permanent magnet is obtained by bonding two or more unit bodies prepared only by mechanical processing with an adhesive.
