Scope
GB/T 40767-2021 is the English-translated version of 地理空间数据交换基本要求.
GB/T 40767-2021 lays down the basic requirements for exchanging geospatial data among its managers, providers and users, through online service calls or offline data copies.
After general requirements on normativity, security and completeness, it covers the exchange organisation and the responsibilities of each party, and the exchange process from catalogue or data release through application, use authorisation and exchange.
It then deals with the exchange data, with the data packet as basic unit and its description files, and with the exchange method, system, cycle and security, including identity information and data review.
Normative Annex B gives the core metadata for geospatial data exchange and informative Annex A an example. It references GB/T 17798, GB/T 25530, GB/T 32905-2016 and GB/T 33185. It was issued on 11 October 2021 and has applied since 11 October 2021.
