GB/T 40094.2-2021 is the English-translated version of 电子商务数据交易 第2部分：数据描述规范.
GB/T 40094.2-2021 is Part 2 of the Chinese standard series on e-commerce data transactions and deals with how the data being traded is described.
It specifies the descriptive attributes of transaction data, the description method, the information model, the summary description, how the information can be extended and how descriptions are verified, with an informative annex giving an example description.
It applies to the collection, release, exchange, storage and management of transaction data in e-commerce data transactions, and builds on Part 1, the guidelines, and on national codes for administrative divisions, countries and regions, industries, languages and dates.
The other parts of GB/T 40094 cover the data interface and privacy protection. It was issued on 21 May 2021 and has applied since 1 December 2021.

GB/T 40094 "E-commerce Data Transactions" is divided into the following parts.

This part is Part 2 of GB/T 40094.
This section was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
1 Scope
This part of GB/T 40094 specifies the description attributes, description methods, information models, abstract description, information extension methods and verification methods of transaction data in e-commerce data transactions.
This section applies to the information collection, release, exchange, storage and management of transaction data in e-commerce data transactions.
