Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the method of using eddy current video integration technology to detect metal composite welds, including principles, personnel requirements, and testing equipment. Preparation, test procedures, result evaluation, test report.

This standard is applicable to the combination of two or more bulk metal materials by welding, explosion, rolling and other forming techniques at the interface. Detection of butt welds between formed metal composite products.

This standard does not apply to the detection of the above-mentioned metal material composite interface.

This standard does not apply to weld inspection of metal matrix composite materials.

3 Terms and definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 12604.6, GB/T 19418, GB/T 20737, and GB/T 34628 apply to this document.

4 Principle

Eddy current video integration technology refers to the integration of eddy current testing and video-based visual inspection of two non-destructive testing methods, and at the same time Inspection, analysis or evaluation of materials or welds.

5 Personnel requirements

The personnel who perform the eddy current video integrated inspection and result evaluation of metal composite welds shall be in accordance with GB/T 9445 or the parties to the contract Qualifications and certifications for eddy current testing and visual testing shall be carried out respectively according to the specifications, and corresponding job training and operation authorization shall be carried out.
