1 Scope

This standard specifies the basic requirements, function and performance requirements, quality inspection and quality of navigation application software based on navigation electronic maps assessment.

This standard applies to the design, production, testing and evaluation of navigation application software based on navigation electronic maps.

3.1 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions defined in GB/T 35766-2017 apply to this document.

3.1.1 Navigableelectronicmap

Contains spatial location and geographic coordinates, which can be combined with a spatial positioning information system to accurately guide people or vehicles from the departure point to the destination An electronic map or data set of the place. [GB 20263-2006, definition 3.2]

3.1.2 Lanedirectionanddividerinformationdiagramofintersection

Schematic diagram of the turning information of each lane of the road at the intersection. The traffic sign marking line is represented by lane signs and ground markings and signs.

3.1.3 Mapmatching

Match the location (trajectory) obtained from the positioning module with the map information provided by the navigation map database to determine the location of the vehicle A technique for the position on the map. [GB/T 19392-2013, definition 3.4]

3.1.4 Pattern image junctionviewimage

An enlarged view of an intersection used to visually represent the direction of travel of vehicles at the location of a highway fork or a complex level intersection.
