1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, production, and production of heat pump water heaters that use carbon dioxide (CO2) as a refrigerant (hereinafter referred to as heat pump water heaters).

The compressor discharge pressure is above the critical refrigerant pressure and the evaporation pressure is below the critical pressure.
