Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part

1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents". Drafting. This document replaces GB/T 38387-2019 "Rubber Noise Reduction Expansion Joints for Bridges". Compared with GB/T 38387-2019, except for structural adjustments... Aside from integration and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

---The structural form of the Type A telescopic device has been changed (see 4.2.1.1,

3.2.1 in the.2019 version);

---The structural form of the A-II type expansion joint has been added (see 4.2.1.2);

1 Scope

GB/T 38387-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering the expansion joint that does not bang - the rubber elements that absorb the wheel impact, the movement range and the load rating, the water tightness and the fatigue life of a component every vehicle crossing the bridge strikes. Issued on 2 December 2025, it has been in force since 1 July 2026, replacing GB/T 38387-2019.

This document provides information on the product classification, structural forms, and models of bridge rubber noise reduction expansion joints (hereinafter referred to as "expansion joints"). The document specifies the technical requirements, inspection rules, and the contents of marking, packaging, transportation and storage, and describes the corresponding test methods. This document applies to the design, production, inspection, and use of rubber noise reduction expansion joints for bridges with an expansion range of 3000mm and below.
