The production of wet-process phosphoric acid is mainly the decomposition of phosphate ore by sulfuric acid. The production of phosphate fertilizer is the reaction of sulfuric acid or phosphoric acid with phosphate ore.

The fluorine-containing exhaust gas (the main component is silicon tetrafluoride) is absorbed by water to form a fluorosilicic acid waste liquid.

The chemical reaction equation is as follows.

3SiF4 (2 n)H2O=2H2SiF6 SiO2·nH2O

4 treatment and disposal methods

4.1 Production of sodium fluorosilicate, potassium

4.1.1 Method summary

Fluorosilicic acid reacts with sodium sulfate (or sodium chloride) or potassium sulfate (or potassium chloride) to form sodium fluorosilicate (or potassium fluorosilicate) precipitate, solid solution

The product is obtained by processes such as separation, washing, centrifugation, and drying. The chemical reaction equation is as follows.
