1 Scope

This standard specifies terms and definitions, designation and parameters, structure, general requirements, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, protection, packaging, storage and transportation of welded ball valve for urban heating.

This standard is applicable to welded ball valves (hereinafter referred to as "ball valves") with nominal dimension less than or equal to DN1600, nominal pressure less than or equal to PN25, service temperature of 0°C to 180°C and using water as the medium.
