Scope

GB/T 37515-2019 is the English-translated version of 再生资源回收体系建设规范.

This standard sets out the composition of a recyclable resource recovery system, the vocabulary used for it, the basic principles and objectives to be followed when such a system is built, and the basic requirements for building it.

Clause 1 states that it applies to enterprises engaged in the recovery, processing and utilization of renewable resources.

Clause 3 defines a renewable resource as waste that has lost all or part of its original use value during production and consumption and that regains value after recovery and processing, a collection site as the fixed end point of the recovery system, a sorting center as the concentrated area where recovered material is finely sorted, processed, packed, stored and shipped, and the recovery system itself as an organizational and business form of recycling enterprises.

The normative references are largely environmental: ambient air quality in GB 3095, integrated wastewater discharge in GB 8978, noise at industrial enterprise boundaries in GB 12348, soil quality for agricultural land in GB 15618, pollution control for hazardous waste storage in GB 18597 and for general industrial solid waste storage and disposal sites in GB 18599, environmental management systems in GB/T 24001, and the national regulations on environmental protection management of construction projects.

It was proposed and is administered by the All-China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives and was drafted by the China Recycling Resources Recycling Association. It was issued on 2019-05-10 and has applied since the same day, 2019-05-10.
