1 Scope

This document specifies the requirements for operators, classification, recycling, pre-sales, sales and after-sales services in furniture recycling transactions.

This document applies to the recycling of old furniture.

This document is not applicable to furniture for study, appreciation or collection.

3 Terms and definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 28202-2020 and the following apply to this document.

3.1 old furniture usedfurniture

Furniture that has been used and has all or part of its original use value.

Note. "Old furniture" is also called "second-hand furniture".

4 Requirements for operators

4.1 Business Entity

Business entities engaged in the recycling of old furniture may include but are not limited to renewable resource recycling companies, furniture manufacturing companies, furniture sellers, Individual business owner.

4.2 Practitioners

4.2.1 Collection personnel, loading and unloading personnel, warehouse management personnel or sales personnel matching the old furniture recycling and trading business should be equipped.

4.2.2 Employees should be aware of laws and regulations, professional ethics, fire safety, health and hygiene, environmental protection, furniture and recycling transactions, etc. Knowledge training.

4.2.3 Operators of special equipment such as forklifts should have corresponding qualifications.

4.3 Business premises

4.3.1 The collection, storage, and trading locations required for the recycling and trading of used furniture should be set up in a classified manner.
