Scope
GB/T 37033.2-2018 is the English-translated version of 信息安全技术 射频识别系统密码应用技术要求 第2部分：电子标签与读写器及其通信密码应用技术要求.
GB/T 37033.2-2018 is Part 2 of the Chinese national series on the use of cryptography in radio frequency identification (RFID) systems, and it deals with the electronic tag, the reader and the communication between them.
It identifies the cryptographic security elements of the tag, of the reader and of the tag-reader link, and sets the security technical requirements for each at the different security levels defined in Part 1.
It also describes how confidentiality and integrity of the transmitted information and identification are achieved in the communication, with informative annexes on a tag chip design, a reader application and two-way authentication using symmetric block cipher or asymmetric algorithms.
It serves the design, manufacture, evaluation and use of tags and readers. It was issued on 28 December 2018 and has applied since 1 July 2019.

GB/T 37033 "Information Security Technology Radio Frequency Identification System Password Application Technical Requirements" is divided into three parts.
--- Part 1. Password security framework and security level;
--- Part 2. Electronic tag and reader and its communication password application technical requirements;
--- Part 3. Key management technical requirements.
This part is the second part of GB/T 37033.
This part is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
1 Scope
This part of GB/T 37033 specifies the electronic security tags and readers using cryptographic techniques and the cryptographic security elements of their communication.
RFID security systems for different security levels for cryptographic security requirements for electronic tags and readers and their communications, and electronic standards A password-safe implementation of the communication between the sign and the reader.
This section applies to the design, implementation, manufacturing, evaluation and application of electronic tags and readers using cryptographic security technology, and shooting Design, implementation, evaluation and application of communication between electronic tags and readers in frequency identification systems.
