GB/T 46067-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering a code that identifies each thing in a city and resolves to a record about it — the reference model, the encoding structure and the subdomain rules built on the OID tree, how the identifier is stored in a barcode or an RFID tag, the registration, resolution, query and cancellation of an identifier, and the entity category management without which two departments end up numbering the same bridge twice. First edition, in force from 1 March 2026. Issued on 29 August 2025, it has been in force since 1 March 2026.
