Scope
GB/T 36896.3-2018 is the English-translated version of 轻型有缆遥控水下机器人 第3部分:导管螺旋桨推进器.
GB/T 36896.3-2018 is Part 3 of the Chinese national series on light duty remotely operated underwater vehicles connected by cable, and deals with their tunnel thrusters, the ducted propellers that move the vehicle.
It covers product classification and main parameters, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and accompanying documents, and packaging, transport and storage.
Thrusters are divided by power source into electric thrusters, driven by a motor with a controller and underwater pressure compensation, and hydraulic thrusters, driven by a hydraulic motor through an electronic control unit and control valves.
The requirements start with appearance and structure, including the absence of oil leakage in the hydraulic system. It applies to the design, production, procurement, testing and inspection of these thrusters. It was issued on 28 December 2018 and has applied since 1 July 2019.

Foreword
GB/T 36896 "Lightweight cabled remote control underwater robot" is divided into four parts.
--- Part 1. General;
--- Part 2. Robot and hydraulic system;
--- Part 3. ducted propellers;
--- Part 4. Camera, lighting and pan/tilt.
This part is the third part of GB/T 36896.
This part is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
1 Scope
This part of GB/T 36896 specifies the product classification and mains of the propeller propeller of the underwater robot (hereinafter referred to as the propeller). Parameters, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, identification, packaging, transportation and storage.
This section applies to the design, production, procurement, testing and inspection of underwater robotic propeller propellers.
2 Normative references
The following documents are indispensable for the application of this document. For dated references, only dated versions apply to this document. For undated references, the latest edition (including all amendments) applies to this document.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Tunnel propeller
A draft tube is added around the propeller, and the thrust of the propeller is increased by the flow guiding action.
4 Classification and composition
The propellers are divided into electric propellers and hydraulic propellers according to different power sources. The composition is as follows.
---Electric propeller consists of motor, controller, ducted propeller and underwater pressure compensation, driven by motor;
---Hydraulic thruster consists of electronic control unit, control valve control, ducted propeller, quantitative or variable hydraulic motor drive, through the liquid Pressure motor drive.
Note: For the propellers mentioned in this section, if no specific type is specified, the conditions apply to both electric propellers and hydraulic propellers.
5 Requirements
5.1 Appearance and structure
Requirements are as follows.
a) The structure of the propeller propeller should be scientific in structure, reasonable in layout, convenient in operation and easy to maintain;
b) The hydraulic system of the propeller propeller must not have oil penetration, and the lubrication and cooling conditions are good;
