1 Scope

This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, sampling, test methods, inspection rules, labeling, packaging, transportation and storage of herring compound feed. Deposit and shelf life.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions as defined in GB/T 10647 apply to this document.

3.1 Crumbles

An irregular small granular feed product obtained by crushing and sieving the pellet feed.

3.2 Pellet feed

A regular granular feed product prepared by tempering and extruding a powdered feed into a die orifice.

3.3 Expanded feed

Regular fluffy pellets made by quenched and tempered, pressurized extrusion die holes and a sudden depressurization process.

Note: Puffed feed is the same as puffed pellet feed.
