1 Scope

GB 7300.206-2025 is the Chinese national standard on feed additives - part 2: vitamins,provitamins and chemically well-defined substances having similar effects - choline chloride, in the field of agriculture. It carries no /T suffix, which in the Chinese system means compliance is mandatory: a product or a practice within its scope has to meet it to be lawfully made, sold or carried out in China. It was issued on 31 December 2025 by the State Administration for Market Regulation; Standardization Administration of China, and takes effect on 1 January 2027. Classification: ICS 65.120, CCS B46. This document provides the chemical name, molecular formula, relative molecular mass, and structural formula of choline chloride, and specifies the feed additive choline chloride. The raw materials, technical requirements, inspection rules, labeling, packaging, transportation, storage and shelf life are described, as well as the sampling and testing methods. This document applies to choline chloride aqueous solution, a feed additive produced by reacting trimethylamine hydrochloride aqueous solution with ethylene oxide, and choline chloride aqueous solution. Choline chloride powder is a feed additive made by adding a carrier to an alkaline solution.

---The precision requirements for ion chromatography (arbitration method) have been changed (see 8.1.4.8, 4.4.2.1.5 in the.2017 version);
