1 Scope

GB 7300.105-2025 is the Chinese national standard on feed additives - part 1: amino acids,their salts and analogues - taurine, in the field of agriculture. It carries no /T suffix, which in the Chinese system means compliance is mandatory: a product or a practice within its scope has to meet it to be lawfully made, sold or carried out in China. It was issued on 29 August 2025 by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and has been in force since 1 September 2026. Classification: ICS 65.120, CCS B46. This document provides the chemical name, molecular formula, relative molecular mass, and structural formula of taurine, and specifies the technical requirements for taurine as a feed additive. The test methods are described, including technical requirements, sampling, inspection rules, labeling, packaging, transportation, storage, and shelf life. This document applies to the production of ethylene oxide or 2-aminoethanol as the main raw materials, through chemical synthesis, with or without the addition of a small amount of anti-caking agent.
