Scope
GB/T 36693-2018 is the English-translated version of 土方机械 液压挖掘机 可靠性试验方法、失效分类及评定.
GB/T 36693-2018 sets out how to run reliability tests on hydraulic excavators and how to classify and assess the failures found. It defines the terms used, such as failure, inherent weakness failure and secondary failure, and gives the test method, followed by the rules for failure classification and the assessment of reliability.
Informative annexes provide a format for collecting failure information and examples of failure modes. It applies to the reliability testing of wheeled and crawler hydraulic excavators, as identified in GB/T 8498, with an operating mass of not more than 200 000 kg. It was issued on 17 September 2018 and has applied since 1 April 2019.

Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, test methods, failure classification and reliability test of hydraulic excavator (hereinafter referred to as "excavator") reliability test. assessment.
This standard is applicable to tire type and crawler type hydraulic excavator products with a working quality of not more than 200000kg as specified in GB/T 8498. Reliability test.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions as defined in GB/T 6572 and GB/T 25602 apply to this document. For ease of use, the following repetitions Some terms and definitions in GB/T 25602 are listed.
3.1 Failure
The whole machine or component cannot complete its specified function or its performance index deteriorates beyond the scope, but it is vulnerable for a certain period of time. Except for replacement of parts.
Note: Rewrite GB/T 25602-2010, definition 3.4.1.
3.2 Inherent defect failure
When the product is subjected to the load within the specified capacity due to errors in planning and implementation, such as design and manufacturing, the inherent defects of the product itself The failure of the formation. [GB/T 25602-2010, definition 3.4.11]
Example: Over-deformation, fracture, early wear and aging failures due to structural strength, material, processing, and assembly processes.
3.3 Subordinate failure
Failure of a product caused directly or indirectly by failure of another product. [GB/T 25602-2010, definition 3.4.8]
Note: If the engine is damaged due to the broken bolt of the connecting rod, the connecting rod bearing bush, the piston and the cylinder are damaged, the connecting rod bolt is broken and the inherent defect is invalid.
The resulting damage to a series of parts such as pistons and cylinders is a subordinate failure.
