Scope

GB/T 36562-2018 is the English-translated version of 煤直接液化制混合芳烃.

GB/T 36562-2018 covers the mixed aromatics obtained when coal is directly liquefied and the resulting oil is aromatized by catalytic reforming. It sets out the terms and definitions, technical requirements and test methods for the product, together with its inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage and safety requirements.

The methods it draws on include the determination of density, water content, mechanical impurities, copper corrosion, distillation characteristics, Reid vapour pressure, sulfur content, aromatics content and individual hydrocarbon composition by gas chromatography, while hazard classification refers to GB 30000.7-2013 for flammable liquids.

The product can be used as a raw material for aromatic hydrocarbon extraction and for other chemical processes. It was issued on 13 July 2018 and has applied since 1 February 2019.
