Scope
GB/T 36430-2018 is the English-translated version of 物联网家电描述文件.
GB/T 36430-2018 defines the device description file of Internet of Things home appliances, the file that describes the features, properties and commands of an appliance.
It sets the classification, naming rules, coding format and structure of the file, and the appliance identifier, an ASCII code built from the manufacturer's EAN-13 code under GB 12904-2008, the home appliance marker, the category and subcategory from GB/T 36428-2018 and a part defined by the manufacturer.
The file structure covers identification information, basic component data and interface information, followed by an example file. Informative annexes give examples of variable types and of refrigerator description files.
It applies to household and similar electrical appliances in an IoT appliance system, was issued on 7 June 2018 and has applied since 1 January 2019.

1 Scope
This standard proposes the classification, naming rules, coding format and file structure of the Internet of Things home appliance description file.
This standard applies to a variety of household and similar electrical appliances within the scope of the Internet of Things appliance system.

3 Terms and Definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 33745-2017 and the following apply to this document.
3.1 Description file
A file that describes the features, properties, and commands of the Internet of Things appliance. [GB/T 36429-2018, definition 3.9]
4 Appliance identification
The Internet of Things (ID) is the unique identifier of the Internet of Things (IoT) appliance product. Its content includes the manufacturer's code, product type, and product's ownership.
The major categories, product subcategories, vendor custom parts, etc., are shown in Figure 1. The home appliance logo is expressed in ASCII code during use.
The value of Part A indicates the manufacturer's code, which is the EAN-13 code of the company, which is executed according to the provisions of GB 12904-2008; the value of Part B (01) Show home appliances; C and D values represent the categories and subcategories of the home appliances. See GB/T 36428-2018 for details; Section E The value is the length of the custom part of the manufacturer; the value of part F is defined by the manufacturer, and it can be the manufacturer's custom model number, production serial number, etc. The combination is guaranteed only within the manufacturer.
