Scope
GB/T 36166-2018 is the English-translated version of 液压元件用铜合金棒、型材.
GB/T 36166-2018 is the Chinese national standard for the copper alloy rods and profiles from which parts of hydraulic pumps and motors are machined. It applies to the stock used for cylinder blocks, slippers, oil distribution plates, ball joints, bushings, sliders, return plates, stops, main and auxiliary plates and side plates.
The standard sets the requirements for these products, starting from the classification by alloy grade, temper and size, and gives the test methods and inspection rules.
Tests draw on methods for tensile and Brinell hardness testing, chemical and X-ray fluorescence analysis, ultrasonic and penetrant inspection, microstructure examination and dimensional measurement.
It also covers marking, packaging, transport, storage, the quality certificate and what the order form should contain. It was issued on 14 May 2018 and has applied since 1 December 2018.

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
1 Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation, storage and quality of copper alloy rods and profiles for hydraulic components. Quantity certificate and order form (or contract) content.
This standard is applicable to the cylinder block, sliding shoe, oil distribution plate, ball joint, bushing, slider, return plate stop, main board for processing and producing hydraulic pumps and motors.
Copper alloy rods and profiles such as sub-plates and side plates (hereinafter referred to as rods and profiles).
