Scope

GB/T 36110-2018 is the English-translated version of 文物展柜密封性能及检测.

GB/T 36110-2018 grades museum showcases by how well they are sealed and explains how to measure it. Showcases are classed as highly sealed, sealed or general according to their air exchange rate, the daily volume of outside air entering the case divided by the case volume: at most 0.5 per day, above 0.5 and up to 1 per day, and above 1 per day.

Precious objects should be shown in highly sealed or sealed cases, first-class relics in highly sealed ones, which are also needed for inert gas or low-oxygen preservation.

General requirements cover tight structure, sealed joints, integrated design of components and careful installation, and a tracer gas method sets out the principle, instruments and measurement steps.

It also applies to sealed storage cabinets. It was issued on 15 March 2018 and has applied since 1 October 2018.

Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the classification of seals of cultural relics showcases, sealing performance requirements, general requirements for seals, and detection methods for display air exchange rates.

This standard applies to all kinds of cultural relics exhibited with the sealing requirements, but also applies to the storage requirements of the sealed storage cabinets.

2 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

2.1 Relics showcase

Relatively closed cabinet for displaying artifacts.

2.2 Showcase ventilation rate

In the absence of external power and no pressure difference, the volume of air entering the exhibition cabinet from outside the exhibition hall in one day is equal to the ratio of the volume of the exhibition cabinet. The bit is every day (d-1).

2.3 Tracer gas

In the study of air movement, a gas can be mixed with air without any change itself, and at a very low concentration can be The total gas measured.

3 Showcase seal classification

3.1 The degree of sealing of cultural relics showcases can be divided into high-sealed showcases, sealed showcases and general showcases according to the size of the exhibition room's air exchange rate.

3.2 Precious cultural relics exhibition Chen Yi should use high-sealed showcases or hermetically sealed showcases, of which a first-class cultural relic should adopt a high-sealed showcase.

3.3 High-sealing showcases or sealed showcases are required for the control of the showcase microenvironment.

3.4 Highly sealed showcases should be used for inert gas or oxygen-deficient preservation techniques.

4 Showcase Sealing Performance Requirements

4.1 Highly-sealed display cabinet. The display cabinet ventilation rate is <= 0.5d-1.

4.2 Sealing showcase. 0.5d-1< exhibition air exchange rate <=1d-1.

4.3 General Showcase. Showcase ventilation rate >1d-1.

5 General Requirements for Showcase Sealing

5.1 The structure of cultural relics showcases should be as tight as possible, and the joints between all accessories and the showcase should also be sealed.

5.2 Structural components should be designed as a whole to reduce the point of joint leakage between components.

5.3 The display cabinet installation should be strictly adjusted to ensure the tightness of the installation of each component.
