Scope
GB/T 36076-2018 is the English-translated version of 自动作业仓储配送包装箱信息标识通用规范.
GB/T 36076-2018 sets the rules for identifying and marking the packing cases that move through automated warehousing and distribution, so that case information can be captured and exchanged automatically.
Identification relies on product bar codes in three situations: retail items, trade items for storage and transport, and storage and transport packages carrying additional information, with human-readable information to support manual handling.
For retail items it uses the 13-digit GTIN-13 code structure and EAN/UPC bar codes of GB 12904. It also covers the marking requirements, drawing on GB/T 191, GB/T 14257, GB/T 16830, GB/T 16986 and GB/T 18348, and its informative annexes show bar code examples, icon names and graphics, marking location areas and where bar code symbols go on a case. It was issued on 15 March 2018 and has applied since 1 October 2018.

3 Logo Requirements
3.1 Overview
