Scope
GB/T 36013-2018 is the English-translated version of 锄草机器人安全要求.
GB/T 36013-2018 sets the safety requirements for mechanical weeding robots, covering their control and operation, and applies to all types of these robots. It starts from hazard identification and risk assessment, then sets design requirements and protective measures, requirements for adjustment and control devices and power unit stability.
Its definitions introduce the safety features it relies on: protective devices for the controller and for the sensors that recognise crops and weeds, limiters for the steering angle and for the traverse movement, and the blind spot the robot creates in the operator's line of sight.
It refers to standards on the electrical equipment of machinery, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, risk assessment and risk reduction, safety-related parts of control systems, safety signs and safety distances. It was issued on 15 March 2018 and has applied since 1 October 2018.
